Trans Day of Visibility

We are a trans owned business, two trans guys with a love for all things petplay!

I'm sure you all already know this, but do you know why we started Bully Bros?

When we first got into the pup scene, most gear makers and events were not welcoming nor inclusive to trans, femme, intersex, or NB bodies. 'Pink' was seemingly a taboo color for fetish stores, and 'cis only' was a common sight for many SF pup events, one of the more accepting cities. Even those who didn't explicitly say cis only, the looks/comments we have personally received were telling enough.

And we know for a fact we are not the only ones to experience this.

So, what do we do? We start Bully Bros! From the start we have been a proud, openly trans run business. We wanted other trans pets to know that they are welcome here, that they do belong in this scene, just like every pet does. Even if you aren't out yet. Visibility is so immensely important, and we wanted to do our small part to make everyone who comes to us feel comfortable to do so.

We want you to know that we see and hear you. The state of the world today can seem bleak, and to say these past few years have been trying on trans life would be an understatement. But you know what? Every year we see more and more trans people, coming out, getting involved, and making a stand. We couldn't be happier or more proud of our trans siblings and we are with you in this fight. Shits hard, but so are we.

We hope everyone has a wonderful trans day of visibility.

Stay proud, stay loud, keep fighting.
